Gone Rogue

Networking Group

UX Designer & No-Code Developer

Framer, Airtable, ChatGPT, Google Analytics

Gone Rogue is a community-first networking group I created for small and independently owned businesses across Southern NH and Maine — designed to be everything traditional networking groups weren’t.

After participating in several paid and referral-driven networks, I saw a pattern I couldn’t ignore: high fees, overly structured systems, and a transactional energy that prioritized sales over connection. That just didn’t sit right with me — or with how I believe business relationships should be built.

So, I built something different.

Gone Rogue is intentionally small, local, and free. There are no attendance requirements, no pressure to pitch, and no aggressive gatekeeping around industries. Members connect through casual events, collaborate via private Slack and Facebook groups, and can opt into a public directory. The goal is simple: give good people a better space to grow together.

I designed and developed the entire site using Framer, focusing on performance, flexibility, and clarity. I built a custom internal CMS to manage the public member directory and event visibility, and developed complex components to handle dynamic layouts and future scalability.

Airtable powers the application pipeline and automates onboarding — instantly sending approval emails and relevant information to new members. I also used ChatGPT to support copy refinement and tone consistency. To round things out, I implemented basic SEO and connected Google Analytics for ongoing traffic insights.

Gone Rogue has since grown into a trusted, values-driven network that puts relationships over transactions — and the site continues to serve as its digital home and operational backbone.
