Emile Cayer.
No-Code Developer & Product Designer.
Hey, I’m Emile — a Product Designer focused on UX and UI. I create digital products that are clean, easy to use, and built to last.
How I Work
I usually start by digging into the product: what it is, who it’s for, what problems it solves, and what the business wants it to do. I look at how it’s working now, where it needs to go, and how to get there in a way that’s efficient and makes sense long-term.
I like to understand the full picture before designing anything. Once I’ve got a clear view of the product and goals, I start mapping out flows, building wireframes, and designing interfaces that feel natural to use.
I’m comfortable working independently, but I also enjoy collaborating with others — especially when there’s space to share ideas and problem-solve together. I ask questions when I need to, stay curious, and care a lot about getting things right.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
I think about both the user experience and the business side. I’ve worked directly with business owners, so I know how to keep things practical and outcome-focused. I design and build, so I can carry a project from idea to launch — and make sure it works the way it should.
I use tools like Framer, WordPress, and Shopify, and I’m always learning something new — whether it’s experimenting with AI tools, picking up a new workflow, or trying a better way to solve a problem.
I’m not perfect — I can be a bit of a perfectionist and I sometimes get stuck on one task longer than I should. I haven’t worked in a formal design team yet, but I’m confident I’ll be a strong contributor and a quick learner when I do.
What Sets Me Apart
I bring a mix of design, development, and systems thinking. I’ve got some front-end experience (HTML/CSS), and I’m comfortable using no-code tools to build products that are easy to manage and grow over time.
I’m also experienced with things like code overrides, databases, API connections, plugin integrations, SEO, component libraries, and analytics — and I’m comfortable creating, managing, and connecting CMSs across platforms like Framer and WordPress. That helps me connect the dots and solve problems beyond just visuals.
